“Open Government with the Action Plan for 2018-2019 of Georgia"
The temporary working groups of City Council and the City Hall joint meeting was held which was led by the Chairman of the City Council- Davit Darchia in order to fulfill the obligations provided for Ozurgeti Municipality.
The participants of the meeting discussed the draft strategy for increasing the transparency and raising good faith in Ozurgeti Municipality presented by Levan Khintibidze, the head of the Union for Democratic Development of Georgian of the partner organization.
The draft strategy, whose development is one of the obligations undertaken by OGP, reflects the visions and goals that ensure the transparent and conscientious operation of the municipality. The obligations to be implemented by the City Council and the City Hall in which representatives of self-governing bodies participated for the development process, are described in the project according to the tasks.
Once the draft strategy for increasing transparency and good faith in Ozurgeti Municipality will be finalized, it will be approved by the City Council.
Georgia Leading agencies and partners implementing of “Open Government with the Action Plan for 2018-2019 of Georgia" are: Ozurgeti Municipality City Council and City Hall, National Parliamentary Library of Georgia, Civics Society Organizations: Guria Youth Resource Center, House of Progress, Georgian Democratic Development Union.
